Issues with Hibernation and Sleep.

I have just got an Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-52-593F) for my Animation and VFx purposes. I have found three issues with it:

1) Power button to turn screen off doesn't work. From the Power options in the Control Panel, I have set that the screen should turn off when I press the Power button (when the laptop is on). Even after setting it multiple times, pressing the power button does nothing.

2) Laptop doesn't boot from hibernation. Hibernation is one of the best features of Windows. I can power the laptop off (to save power) and at the same time, I can get back to my work instantly by keeping my applications running. Sleep is okay, but, it uses battery. So, the problem is, laptop hibernates fine, but, when I press the power button to start the laptop from hibernation, I am shown the Acer logo in green with the dots rotating in the bottom center and after one or two rotations, they just stick there and stop rotating. Basically, the laptop never boots from hibernation. I have to force power it off and then it starts.

3) Waking the laptop from sleep disrupts the wireless functions. Now that Hibernation doesn't work, I'm left with sleep. But, every time I wake my laptop from sleep, I notice that my laptop has lost Wi-Fi. It acts as if there's no Wi-Fi card in it. This problem is fixed only by restarting the laptop.

Basically, I can just use the normal power off and power on funtions of the laptop well. Neither the Sleep nor the Hibernation option is working fine for me.

I tried searching for solutions on Google which include setting Hard Disk turning off time to never, etc. None of the solutions have worked, though. If there's no fix for this, I hope Acer will note this and fix it by providing some software update. Please do not suggest resetting the PC or installing Windows as I have already resetted it once and I don't want to reinstall Windows after I'm done configuring and installing so many apps, etc.

    The correct command is powercfg -h off and powercfg -h on!
    If that does not solve, try the solution suggested by @JackE! To do a factory reset, press f2 when turning on the notebook and turn on the d2drecovery function! Then press f10 to save on exit and immediately press alt + f10 to enter the recovery partition and the part where the wifi password is requested, do not enter the password or disable the wifi so that windows does not download the updates again and you you can verify that hibernation will work correctly! However it is possible that the next update of windows, which will not be delayed to be released, correct this problem!

    What version of bios is currently installed? Check this by accessing the cmd program as administrator and typing wmic bios get smbiosbiosversion!
    It is possible that a bios update will solve the problem!
    Second: Be sure to disable startup in the power options if the problem is resolved; then click Change plan settings, change advanced power settings, suspend and disable "enable hybrid sleep mode"! Make sure disabling these functions solves the problem, and then enable one at a time!

    If the problem still remains, download the updates for windows and update the drivers for the video, download the drivers on the website of nvidia and intel or use the program driverbooster to try to install these drivers and then uninstall!

    Was the factory re-set done outside of Windows (ALT+F10 cold boot method) with NO internet connection? Jack E/NJ

    No. I used the standard factory reset. Settings > Update > Reset.

    BIOS version is Insyde Corp. V1.19 dated 13-07-2018.

    Hybrid sleep is already off - a suggestion from Google search results had told me to do so. Windows updates are all installed and all drivers are updated too.

    Well, I was directly going to say yes as I haven't made any changes to the system, but, still gave it a try. Somehow, it has worked at least this one time. Both sleep and hibernate worked fine. However, the power button problem persists.

    Did you update the notebook drivers to see if it solved the problem? Have you updated windows?

    Certifique-se de que os programas de acesso rápido e epower management da Acer estejam instalados, pois esses programas também podem estar interferindo na configuração de hibernação e botão de energia!

    Again, I made no changes to the system after submitting the problem. It's somehow got fixed automatically. Tried a few more times. Power button issue still remains. I did check to driver and Windows updates now, both show up to date.

    I don't have any Acer app installed in my system except for Nitro Sense.

    Is any device programmed to wake up the computer? Make sure to put energy saving on the power options the power button problem remains!

    I would try using the driverbooster to check for any outdated drivers! The drivers shown on the Acer website are optimized by them, however they do not usually update the drivers so often!
    Another possibility is that version 1803 of windows 10, is causing many problems of incompatibilities with various hardware and that can or not be solved with updating the drivers! However, updating video drivers usually solves this problem despite being a generic driver and not optimized by the manufacturer!

    No. No device is programmed to wake the computer up. I didn't quite understand the latter part.

    Yes. I'm using Driver Booster to update drivers. Just now, I got some Battery driver update. Updated and restarted. No change. You might be right about Windows 1803, though.

    I still think there should be some installed program like acer quick access or epower management, unless you have uninstalled it! These programs as I told you, interfere with the settings of the power options! The epower is older and your notebook may not have it installed! However the current computers comes with acer quick access program installed and it interferes with the power buttons! If you have not uninstalled it, look for this program in the start menu!

    Yeah. Sorry for putting it in the wrong way. When I said that my laptop doesn't have them, I meant that I had uninstalled them. There were 2 or 3 of Acer apps. I just kept Nitro Sense and uninstalled all others.

    I didn't even open the programs. The first thing I did after starting my laptop was uninstall those apps. Any idea how can I get those apps back?

    Tried installing the app and changing the settings to Turn off the display on power button press. It didn't work too.
