I have an Acer One 722 netbook which I believe is almost 7 years old and for the last few years, I have not used it that much because of the slowness despite installing an SSD and reinstalling Win10 multiple times.

A couple years ago I had a problem with the keyboard where certain keys would not function so I installed a new keyboard. Within a few weeks, the new keyboard had problems with a few different keys not working.

Recently I wiped Windows 10 off the Acer 722 and installed the Chromebook OS. For a keyboard I had to install the on-screen Chromebook keyboard as the only way to get the netbook to function.

I don't want to bother installing a new keyboard because I think the problems will just crop up again.

Does anyone know if I can use a wireless keyboard such as the Logitech K400+ for my Acer 722 using the Chromebook OS?

Re-seat only the KB ribbon to connector on the mainboard. Not re-seat the whole mainboard! My AO722 had a similar KB issue due to its ribbon connection on the mainboard was a bit loose, dirty and not holding the ribbon tight enough. Re-seating the ribbon a few times inside the mainboard connector and securing it better with Scotch tape fixed the problem. Jack E/NJ

If your USB ports are functioning OK it should be fine since it's compatible with ChromeOS. Jack E/NJ PS: AO722 KB issues are almost always due to the ribbon connector at the mainboard needs to be re-seated a few times to clean the corrosion. Ask me how I know. 8^)
