Two computers Acer Ferrari 1100 have stopped functioning

Gent.le Community I want to make a question:

I am the owner from 2012 of 2 computers Acer Ferrari 1100 that yesterday have both stopped to function. In practice when I press power button the computer is dead. Now I want to know if there is a particular reason for which the computer gives this error of if I must think that the error is due to the motherboard that has broken. From that moment the led of battery is yellow as if the battery is not charged. I have tried to measure the voltage with a tester and it gives 11.23 v. Now I don't know if the error is due to the low capacity of the battery.

You can try the following:

1) Turn off the notebook and disconnect it from electrical
2) Disconnect the battery:

3) Press the power button for thirty seconds to eliminate static power and then test!

Gent.le Mr. Egidio Coelho I have tried your solution but the computer is really dead. Now I would like to know if it is possible to use the hard disk on another computer to avoid to lose all the programs that are installed..

Yes, it's possible! You can disconnect and connect to another computer!

Unfortunately I have only Mini Intel Stick and I am trying, using an external box, to insert the hard disk of the computer Acer Ferrari 1100 using multiboot option but it seems that is not possible.I gently ask you if there is a similar computer that can solve my problem.

As I said before I only own a Intel Mini Stick computer. That's why I cannot try to connect the hard disk to a desktop computer.

Let me ask you one thing: do you own two Acer Ferrari 1100s? And did both give you exactly the same problem?

You get a 2.5 "hd case with usb port! However I do not know if the mini stick will recognize correctly!

Yes I own 2 Acer Ferrari 1100 that have broken the same time. I have tried installing the hard disk on an external box with usb 3.0 port but Mini Stick Intel has not recognized.

You can try it on a case with usb 2.0!

Was there any power surge in your home so that it has caused damage to two notebooks?

I have not tried with a box with usb 2.0 port. I think that the cause for which 2 computers have broken the same time is due to the fact that the duration is decided by the productor. In fact I have bought the computers the same day and they have broken the same day.

Try to connect the two to the power without the batteries connected and test!

Does it show any beep? Did you try changing the rams memories of slots?

You can try to find the power switch like the one on this notebook, which may be preventing the notebook from turning on! It's a button like that of another model!
