Hi guys! As I posted some time ago, my notebook came out of the box with a single 16Gb 2666Mhz Kingston ram stick: Yes 2666 and not 2400 that was supposed to be the max frquency supported from the motherboard. So I decided to add a second 16GB module to reach the max capacity supported (32Gb) but I could not find the same Kingston model that  was installed from factory ( probably was an OEM model that Kingston made for Acer). So I went for a Crucial 16Gb 2666 CL 19 that has identical features of the Kingston one and more both are equipped with a Micron Technology sdram,  they are working flawlessy in dual channel  and I could'nt ask for more, and, considering that the notebook was equipped as well with a 256 Gb nvme intel ssd  (Intel SSDPEKKW256G7X1 600P) that's working at his full speed  (1570 on reading and 595 on writing), I can say I'm very satisfied of the performances of this very good laptop!

The one that offers you the most bang for your buck. The one that provides you a decent hardware with significant cost-cutting.
Thank you for posting the screenshots of performance with the memory modules.

Mine too came with 2666, but with two 8 GB modules... if i want to go to 32, I would need to buy two 16 GB ones... you got lucky getting pre-installed with a single 16 GB instead of two 8 GB.

Yes, you 're right! I was lucky to have one 16gb module out of the box, so I  had to buy just an other one, you know, it depends in which country it,s sold: there are so many different  configurations, I think I was lucky , I'have'nt seen  helios 300 equipped with a 256Gb Nvme ssd and 2666Mhz ram in other countries than Italy .

All right! but did yours have a 1000Gb hard disk as well?,  and, how much did you have to pay to to get a 512Gb ssd equipped laptop? and more: is it a Nvme ssd or just a sata 3 one?  did you test his speed?

MIne came out of the box  with an I7 7700HQ processor, a GTX geforce 1060 with 6GB memory, a Nvme 256Gb Intel P600 series ssd, a single 16Gb 2666Mhz ram module and a 1000Gb hard disk, and I paid for it 1200 euros (About 1300$).
