No, I'm not that good with hardware stuff, it is actually only in Fortnite like that. I've also tried to undervolt my 300, but it's not affecting, so I set it to default back.
Then perhaps unlocking the BIOs isnt the greatest idea.... since it directly controls the hardware settings/setup.

If undervolting "did nothing" I suggest optimizing your setup.

So you have either Acers Nvidia driver installed or a 1050ti.

Same thing happened to me... not sure how I managed to accidentally enable the second "advanced" tab in bios but the options available in this tab were, as the name implies, truly "advanced". The settings available in there were what every power user would ever dream of having. Stupidly, I rebooted and they were gone. So sad. Obviously these advanced options are already there since I also witnessed them but are obviously hidden and I don't know how to unhide them. I tried every button on the keyboard to use as a keystroke with F2 at boot to open bios in the mode with the advanced settings enabled to no avail. I did on the other hand, find that opening the bios with SHIFT+F2 opens the bios in some manufacture mode but I didn't see any difference in this mode except that the computer hangs when I try to save changes and exit nd the text at the top where it says InsydeH20 is in red and it says "Manufacture". I have Acer AN515-53.

    Like I said.

Adding a second advanced tab is scripted manually into a written BIOs reflash.

Having two advanced tabs is not possible from a factory shipped unit.
Even in the video you sent he doesnt have two advanced tabs, he just unlocks the one.

I have personally unlocked my BIOs and added a second advanced tab on the Helios 300 and have seen the code myself.

    Its just not there.

Obviously you are incorrect as the same thing happened to me. I opened my bios one day and there was an extra advanced tab (there were 2 advanced tabs). I stupidly rebooted assuming that this was permanent but to my disappointment, it was not. I remember vaguely that I only hit F2 and I also remember hitting it a bit late cause I thought I hit it too late and thought it was going to go to the loading windows screen.

Agmrocha all acer laptops bios are locked there are ways to unlock them but neither acer neither this community support/encourage it (use google instead) neither its allowed to talk about how to do it in this community please read the community rules and depending on each model that option you sated should be available to deactivate in the bios also your laptop its not a predator i suggest to post any issues in the aspire forum only

I bought my laptop in the store and it is original, I had my headset on the keys and I was pressing F2 and entered the Advanced tab with overclocking options, mine is new and original but I never got into the advanced BIOS, I I found that holding shift and clicking F2 will go into BIOS manufacter mode but that's all.

@titanxgamer54321 as i previously said all bios are locked if you had in anyway another advanced tab with more options its just a bug/glitch it will not change anything even if you try it will not save if you shutdown/reboot and go to bios again it will be back to normal :)

I have heard lot of cases when users occasionally got into unlocked bios so definitely there is some key combination or it’s just a bug allowing do it

with some acer laptops you can open the bios by pressing F2 then after it loads press FN+TAB(3) then exit and and press F2 again. you will then have access to the advanced options IF it is available on your bios (insydeH20 bios)

    BIOS: Insyde H20 Zaar V 1.49
    Currently running in Legacy mode
    Goal: return to UEFI
    Laptop: Acer Aspire e 15 576G-5762

After days of searching, this is the first thread I found where anyone sounds knowledgeable about the issue I'm facing ...

Which is this: I intentionally rolled back the BIOS on my Acer Aspire e 15 576G to "Legacy." Now, for some reason, there are NO options available (see image) to select and I WOULD like to restore UEFI Bios.

I found a similar thread on flashing BIOS akin to a hard factory reset but before I did that I wanted to see if anyone on this thread has a better suggestion.

I've re-installed windows and tried booting from restore disks via Rufus but, basically, almost all my options come back to the central problem of my firmware not being able to support more advanced restore options (via USB recovery). Using Insyde's own BIOS updater, it doesn't allow me to downgrade my BIOS.

dooflite hi to start with this forum its predator/triton laptops only you should open a new thread in the correct forum for your own models and secondly acer does not support bios downgrade/modding neither its allowed to be discussed on this community so try it at your own risk and the bios updater only updates doesnt allow to downgrade and its a very complicated/risky process to do so you might brick the device good luck :)

Also the legacy/uefi mode can only be changed when u set a supervisor password thats the only way to enable some of the greyed options including disable secure boot and changing from uefi to legacy (on older models only as microsoft had all manufacturers remove the legacy option in all the newer models/bios as they don t want anyone to be able to downgrade to older OS like win xp/7 etc) u just have to undo what u did before in order to get back to uefi and secure boot

budafuko thats not true at all :P the bios are all locked they cannot be unlocked by the end user unless they modded it theres no other way there is a bug when sometimes someone will have the advanced settings showing up but nothing changed will save and after a reboot it will get back to normal as i said its just a bug nothing else Jerin budafuko

@xapim -- thanks for your thoughts. I've rebooted multiple times, re-installed windows, and have tried to restore from BIOS on USB.

Since I cannot select any of the options on the BIOS screen, I'm not sure I'm following what you're saying, "Just undo what you did before." I selected "Legacy" (rather than "UEFI") in my H20 Insyde BIOS, and now I'm totally stuck. Hmmm ...
