Acer Reimburse Shipping Charges

I purchased an Acer Predator XB271HU back in December of last year and it has been plagued with the vertical line issue for half a year now and had not had time to deal with it till now. : https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/4v56wo/xb271hu_owners_have_you_experienced_any_vertical/

Do they really expect me to pay inbound shipping on a faulty product? Esp a large and expensive one to ship?

Not to mention the down time? 

No cross shipment offers, required inbound shipping.. Not happy at all.

    Generally the warranty states as 1 year or 3 year carry in. You may contact customer care and explain the situation to get inbound shipping as exception.
