Hi all,
Wondering if it's possible to add an SATA 3 SSD to my laptop, or replace the original 1TB (or keep both)?
If so, does anyone know which sort of SSD will fit (a 2.5" SATA 3, M2, etc), i'm not that familiar with SSD drives i'm afraid.

My E5-521-65DE is the version with A6-6310 CPU, 6GB DDR3L ram, 1TB HDD, DVD writer. and has a manufacturing date of 2014/10/01.

Thanks for any advice.

You ***might*** be able to add an m.2 SATA3 card but not guaranteed compatibility. Also a possibility is to add an 2.5" SSD or HDD caddy to replace the DVD tray. Jack E/NJ

Thanks for the reply JackE...i know what you mean about ***might*** be able to...i gotta say, finding accurate information about what this laptop has in terms of ports, connectors and the like, is a lot more difficult than i thought it would be.

    Thanks again anyway mate.
