Aspire 7533z CPU upgrade

I have Aspire 7533z and I like to bring it to life (upgrade cpu, RAM and SSD and even network card if possible), Mine came originally with pentium p6200, I did some research and found out i7-640M is the same socket and power and works with motherboard chipset HM55, does the BIOS on this laptop support i7-640m?

Are you sure it's 7533z and not 5733z model? If it's 5733z, you can upgrade up to i5-560m but i7-640m also might work, it will most probably work but can not be able to confirm, both CPUs are identical except i7-640m slightly faster.

Are you sure it's 7533z and not 5733z model? If it's 5733z, you can upgrade up to i5-560m but i7-640m also might work, it will most probably work but can not be able to confirm, both CPUs are identical except i7-640m slightly faster.

Thanks for the quick reply, indeed it's 5733z, it was a typo. i7 640m will definitely work as it has the same socket and power and compatible with motherboard chip HM55, what I was worried about is the BIOS not able to recognize this processor, but since someone already tried it (http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/5733z-cpu-upgrade-to-i7-640m-etc.787112/) and it worked now I'm more comfortable to do it.
