My Aspire R5-571T touch screen has stopped working, I went into my Device Manager and I don't see any driver or anything even relating to my touch screen for some reason, and no yellow or red triangles. My keyboard and touchpad still work fine, but no matter if I'm in tablet mode or not, my touch screen is just not responding.

  • Try this: go to the power options and turn off quick boot and turn off the notebook! Then turn it on again and test the touch screen!

Please try few steps recommended below.
    >>>Restarting Windows always fixes hardware not working issues. Try this method and your touch screen may work!
    >>>Press windows key + X and select Device Manager. Left click the arrow next to Human Interface Devices to open the dropdown. Right click the listing for HID-compliant touch screen and select Disable. You’ll be asked to confirm this, so click Yes. You now need right click the listing again, but this time select Enable. This is one of the simplest solutions, but it doesn’t always work. In fact, you may find that the issue still continues after a system restart.
    >>>Reinstall the original touchscreen device driver that came installed on your computer using the following steps:
In Windows, search for and open Device Manager. Expand the Human Interface Devices heading. The touchscreen device is labeled HID-compliant touch screen, or similar. Right-click the touchscreen device and select Uninstall. Confirm the uninstallation. Restart the computer to reinstall the touchscreen driver.
    >>>Also, I suggest you update the Display driver from the Device Manager and check if this helps.
Press Windows key + X and click on Device Manager. Expand Display Adaptor.
Right click on the video driver and select Update Driver Software. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

When I go into Human Interface Devices it only shows HID- Compliant Touch pad or HID-Compliant vendor-defined device, or HID-Compliant wireless radio controls. It doesn't say anything about touch screen... I also tried updating my driver software and restarting my computer, but it's still the same issue.
