Im having a hardtime and i am reluctant on upgrading,cause it my not be compatible please help. my laptop comes with the 1tb TOSHIBA 5200RPM. and wanted some opinions, would i need to upgrade the slot in the m.2 slot or is the 2nd drive bay enough to be my primary hard drive?

    Hi,
    You have a M.2 slot available, you can install a M.2 NVMe SSD or a M.2 SATA SSD, transfer the contents of HDD(Toshiba) to it and use the HDD for storage.
    You have to remove the back cover to access the slot, so get the confirmation from local Acer support centre that you won't void warranty by opening the back cover, normally it should be fine, as long as you don't damage any parts in the process but it's  better to be sure.
