Charging Pin Bent, won't stay attached.

I've been rough using my laptop for a year straight now. Probably my fault that the pin itself bent. It won't stay connected, and even if it is, I'd have to have it in certain positions to make sure it's charging.
I'm pretty confident that the laptop's charging port is fine and not bent, from what I can see by looking inside.

My laptop's battery life shrunk considerably, maybe 3 hours max? Could it be because of the charger?
My laptop is the R5-571T-57Z0.

Would replacing the cables be the ideal solution? Or replace both the charger and the port.

Hi Kash, As the adapter connector is bent, it may not get sufficient contact to the charging port in laptop. That may cause laptop battery to not charge properly and that results battery life to degrade. As a workaround, I recommended you to 1st change the adapter cable and check charging the laptop. That should work.

If the charging issue persists, then the charging port of laptop might have damaged due to the usage of bent adapter port. You need to contact Acer Technical Support https://www.acer.com/worldwide/ in your location.
