Right hinge broke off and just one day after the warranty expired. Need replacement. (ACER VX15)

I have been a long time user of  acer products,my ACER VX15 is my primary driver. The right hinge just broke off and the back panel  just came apart. Now I am unable  to close the laptop. This is the second problem with this machine, first being the motherboard got fried for unknown reasons.If this does not get covered under warranty I am sad to say that I will refrain myself from purchasing acer products in the future. I am a prime influencer in my social circle and this has tainted the image of acer as a  brand for me. I hope Acer can resolve my problem.

    Hi @Parasu

    There are different types of warranties which comes along with the device. To check if this issue is covered under warranty you would have to contact acer support.

    I'm sure acer does not back on their customer's. Hopefully your issue gets covered.

    Maybe. But I think the customer SOP also stipulates that his cage must therefore be rattled again today. And repeated often till something happens. Jack E/NJ

    I have replied to your PM, please keep in mind that if your still under the warranty period does not means that the situation you may be encountering will be cover under warranty, it is important that you send the pictures to your local Acer support for review. I have also requested you more information for follow up.
