Bios Update not working (rom file not found) for Acer Aspire E5 411

Greetings, I have an Acer Aspire E5 411 that was taken out of the dust for a couple of months but still in good condition, turns out the battery is not charging, even though it's recognized as such. It's the classic 0% not charging issue.

However, before I conclude the battery itself is dead, I decided to update the bios, and OF COURSE it can't run the latest revision .EXE because it requires at least 15% battery to do so. Fine, modify the ini, bypass the restriction, and now I have the infamous "ROM file not found" error.

I tried everything under the sun to get untill this point, and I'm not ready to throw away a battery that might still work and it's not only because of a bios glitch. Any help to this specific issue is appreciated.

Usually when a battery is left uncharged for a long time, it takes a while before it charges again! However you can try to do a power reset on the notebook!

To do this, turn off the notebook and disconnect the battery from the notebook! Then press the power button for 30 seconds!

Connect the battery and leave it charging while the notebook is off! Make sure that after a while the charging LED turns orange!

The bios program only accepts to upgrade when the battery charge is at least 30%!
