please clarify: does the an515-42-R5GT support both SATA and NVME in the M.2 slot?

    Hi.
    So just to make it clear, for the model AN515-42 the NVMe SSD is never even will be supported?  :o 
    I just bought this laptop and trying to upgrade it with 760 EVO 1TB without luck coz not recognised.. my BIOS is v.1.11 is it worth to update?

    According to Acer Level 2 tech support (see my earlier post from July 2018), the it is a hardware limitation of the slot, not something a BIOS update can fix.

    However, the 860 Evo M.2 was an excellent consolation prize and differences in speed are arguable not noticeable.
