Is the fan spinning? Check it in Nitro Sense.

Undervolt your CPU with intel extreme tuning utility. This will reduce your average load temperature around 7+ Celcius.
This video teach you how to do so.

I undervolt my nitro 5 by -0.100 MV. I can go higher than that but i get BSOD when playing Hearthstone.

If you are lucky, you can undervolt even higher.

get a laptop cooing pad if you do a lot of gaming for hours on end.  That'll help.

personally i feel they're pretty much the same, so best thing is to read a few reviews, keep in mind the physical size of your laptop, and go for a 3-5 fan model (|they're usb powered).  Expensive doesn't always mean better, so for £10-20, you should be fine.  (quiet is better!)
