I'm helping a friend. It started out they couldn't remember the password cause it sat for years without use. I got past that & updated. Then it was freezing up randomly.  Didn't find a workable fix. I got the brilliant idea to re-install Windows 7. Used my W7 professional disk.  Seems to work ok, but now all the network drivers are missing. (Didn't think to check, but the computer was probably 32 bit & the disk was for 64 bit.)  I dont have a W7 starter or 32 bit disk. Now what?

Two choices. If the hidden 32-bit starter recovery partition is still intact, you can probably re-install starter by using the ALT+F10 coldboot recovery method. Check Diskmgmt.msc to see if the partition is still ther. If no joy, you can probably still a purchase starter USB install stick with all the correct drivers from the ACER store for ~$45 with the machine's serial number id (SNID) https://store.acer.com/en-us/extended/recovery/
