Cant install a Windows 7 OS to a ES1-132C7XC laptop

Hi there

I have here a problem for more than a month now trying to search for some solutions,

so this what happens, I bought a laptop from a friend which is in a very good shape but the thing is it comes with the Phoenix OS which is I believe a Linux bases OS.
so what I did is trying to install a Win7 to this laptop using a USB drive, and yes laptop is able to boot up from the USB boot drive with Win7
and able to install it properly, so after installing the Win7 I tried to start the laptop and what i got is just a screen says "Starting Windows" and hangs. the only way to turn the laptop off is by pressing and hold the on and off button.

Have you switched the Bios setting to legacy? Read this article it might help good luck.

This notebook is designed to run Windows 10! Even if you can install windows 7, you will have trouble finding drivers!

On the Acer website, there are drivers only for windows 10, so it is likely that it came with this operating system!

You have two options back to windows 10:

1) Through the recovery partition, entering the BIOS by pressing f2 when turning on the notebook! Activate the d2drecovery function and save on exit! Then press alt + f10! It will only work if the recovery partition is intact!

2) Through the pendrive with a windows iso:

You can try the following:

a)) download windows 10 at this site https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10! You must select the x64 option (only that works in uefi mode) and then select download in iso format!

b) enter in cmd as administrator and type these commands to program the pendrive to boot: diskpart, list disk, sel disk x (x is the number of pendrive), clean, convert gpt, create partition primary, format fs = fat32 quick and assign! "Give enter in each command"!

c) Extract the iso x64 and paste the files on the pendrive!

d) then enter the bios, disable the secureboot by creating a password in the setsupervisorpassword, select mode uefi and select the pendrive first at boot!
