Keyboard protector?

I just purchased a new Chromebook Spin 15 and love it. I need some help. I am a Hunt and Peck typist and a guitar picker so I keep my fingernails a bit longer than most. I tend to wipe the letters off the keys pretty quick. Is there any protective measure I can take to help with this situation. I have seen plastic keyboard covers usually employed in dusty environments and need to know if there is anything I can do to protect against scratching the letters off the keys. Possibly something like clear tape on dots or squares. Even a clear type through film I could affix over the entire KB would be fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated but I already know I should just learn to type with all of my fingertips.

Thank you and this is the idea I am searching for however I see 2 real issues that need clarification. First is the ridiculous price of $189 but this is likely to be in some other countries currency. Second is that my new chromebook is model CP 315 and is a 15.6 inch and I am unsure of this is the same as the CB3 keypad. Mine has top facing speakers on both sides of the keypad that I don't want covered.
