Acer Care Center,needed or not?

HK1994HK1994 Posts: 43Member Devotee
Hello fellow Acer users,
I am an Helios 300 user and when going through the list of installed programs on my PC,I noticed 2 programs:Acer Care Center and DriverSetupUltility.
The former I rarely use and I have made a backup using the program and the latter I don't know what for.
Can anyone tell me what I should I do with them:Uninstall/keep them back?

Acer care has number of functions built which is  hdd check, battery health check, tuneup (controls app startup on windows boot) update tool for certain drivers, recover management like make a factor default for windows installation (very use-full) there is also Acer Quick access which control like usb powered port, Cool Boost, Bluelight Shield and dust defender so I recomend that you leave the app installed as it benefits the health of the laptop.Note sure about the DriverSetupUltility but its part of the Acer software package so its likely for driver installation and maintenance.
