Has anyone installed/added an extra SSD (or replaced existing HDD) on Acer Swift 3 Ryzen 5 2500u?

I read a few forums which suggested that Acer Swift 3 that comes with Ryzen 5 processor does have an empty M.2 slot for SSD. But, I have also read a few forums which mentioned that system was actually not able to read the added SSD.

Has anyone successfully added SSD to this model? If yes, which SSD?

What is the full model number of your swift3? SF3xx-xx?
Specification details suggest an optional extra 2.5" HDD connector & needed-space may have been available in only a few models & countries. Accordingly, you should assume your sf315-41  only has room and a connector for an m.2 card unless you open it and find otherwise.

The below mentioned details are offcially listed for  Acer Swift SF315-41/SF315-41G.
    Solid State drive (M.2 2280)
    M.2 2280 128 / 256 / 512 GB , SATA SSD (SATA 3.0)(Support AMD Ryzen™R3 2200U /2300U ,

    M.2 2280 256 / 512 GB NVMe SSD, PCIE (AMD Ryzen™R3 2200U /2300U only support PCIE
    SSD 2 lane(x2),Ryzen™R5 and Ryzen™R7 support up to PCIE SSD 4 lane(x4)).

    Hard Disk Drive
