Upgrading RAM

I am planning to upgrade the RAM on my laptop E5-476G. Has anyone tried faster clocked RAM with this model?
This model comes with an ADATA 4GB DDR4-2400MHz. I am thinking of dual(for dual channel config) higher clock speed and lower latency RAMs.
Does anyone think this is a good idea?
Oh and for the M.2 slot...what is the best price to performance and capacity nowadays? And will NVMe work with this model?

Faster RAM should work but only as fast as the bus 2.4GHz --- so don't pay extra for faster RAM. The best and ***most*** reliable bang for the buck is an m.2 SATA card. nVME's are still a work in progress. Jack E/NJ
