10 months of non stop issues with my Nvidia drivers after Windows 10 fall update

I am pretty desperate for help. In December 2017 I managed to get the big Windows 10 to finally load after it failing constantly for about 2 weeks, within one week I started experiencing issues with games freezing and started getting various BSOD errors. The laptop would freeze while it was "fixing" the BSOD and I would have to do a hard restart to get it to boot again. The hard restarts seemed to do more harm and I ended up in endless loops of freezing repairing freezing. I tried to roll back the update but was unable to. I tried to repair it failed. I tried to reset and keep folders and it failed. I then tried to reset and remove all folders and it failed as well. Start up repair - failed. I am not a techie at all but by reading quite a bit on the net I found the DDU uninstalled the Nvidia completely and reloaded the newest version from the Nvidia website and it seemed to sort out the issue. Next update came around in +-February 2018 and I ended up with the same issues. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers but I was struggling to even get the laptop past the start up screen it would crash before giving me login option or it would crash while logging in. We then did a complete format of the laptop hoping that we could load a previous OS that was more stable but you can't. Finally out of desperation we contacted the ACER help desk and was told to load only the drivers from the ACER site. We did that and it worked for about a month and then the freezing and BSOD started again, after the newest windows updates. I have possibly been able to use this laptop for about 30 days for the past 8 months which is completely unacceptable. I need a proper solution as I can not keep formatting the laptop after every Windows update and loading drivers that is over a year old.
This is a Predator 17  with NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970m graphics card. I am not sure what else you need to be able to help.

I say this is my every comment but well...

First - install last windows 10 version which was stable for you, that is either 1703 or 1709.
2nd - disable windows updates, you dont need them, only update when you absolutely must (that means never).
3rd- install only drivers from Acer site.
Only driver which you need download separately is graphics one, and this is only one which you should update manually , rest rarely need to be upgraded.

We have tried to roll back to the stable version and have never been able to do this, Windows updates have been disabled but it seems as if windows really don't care if you say no :) Installed all the drivers from ACER site only. The moment I update the NVIDIA drivers it all goes to hell again

Sorry I was trying to add the model and part number; was not sure if that would help.

    No problem :)
If your win is corrupted clean install is only solution :/
You can try aus logics reg cleaner, but chances it helps are slim.

I've found driver 388.31 is the best driver outside of Acers driver.

Sorry here I am back again. I created a USB with the 1703 version on as this was the last stable version when I tried to boot from USB it tells me the system has no USB boot option. I checked in the boot menu and there is only one option to boot from the partition. I think the partition has been corrupted or something since I am in an endless loop of DPC Watchdog violation BSOD's when it tries to load windows from there. Any suggestions?

There should be an option in the BIOs to enable the F12 boot list that once enabled and you restart you can hit F12 and select the USB.

From there you should be able to fresh install or repair.
