Be careful with your Nitro laptops. As can be seen in the videos below, the Nitro laptop cases have a very weak hinge fixing and over time they start to crack. I was very careful with my laptop, but after about a year of use, these plastic threads were torn out. The Acer warranty service won't fix it.

    I'm not sure what I'm seeing other than case flexing in these videos. If the apparent cracks are accessible, I'd be tempted to reduce further stress by using JBWeld epoxy to strengthen the case and moderate my habit of opening/closing the lid too often since this can also result in fatigue breaks in video ribbon traces that often run thru the hinge area.
