Chromebook Tab Power Issue

So I have one of the new Acer Chromebook Tabs.  I am finding that the slightest bump of the power button or screen turns it on.  I have found, while travelling or just carrying it around with my backpack it will be on for hours.  Obviously it gets pretty warm and drains the battery.  I checked with some other folks with them and they do not have that issue.  Manufacturing flaw on mine?  Do I need to submit it for repair/replacement?

That's because you're not really turning off the chromebook by pressing the power button. It's being put into a sleep mode. You must press & hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn the machine off. Jack E/NJ

Sorry to hear your experience with the new tablet. If the device is within the estimated business days for it to be returned to get a replacement you may do it or you can contact Acer support in your region to send in the Tablet and get it fixed.
