Acer GN246HL has stopped accepting certain HDMI inputs

This seems to have happened overnight and I don't know why. I had a PSTV hooked up to the HDMI input of my monitor and it was saying "No Signal" despite being on. My laptop which previously worked with the monitor also doesn't work at first. However my satellite receiver works just fine and the audio also works (1280x720@60hz output). With that being said both my PSTV and my PS4 will no longer display a signal on the monitor, but they still work off of everything else (worth noting I have tried 3 other HDMI cables as well and the PSTV output is the same as the satellite). I tried hotplugging the HDMI from the output of my satellite receiver to my laptop and finally got a signal but it failed to recognized the monitor as anything other than Generic PnP Monitor. Drivers are probably not the issue here considering the issues with everything else and it was working just fine off my DisplayPort to HDMI cable a day earlier with audio passthrough, and now it also does the same thing with that cable when I manage to get a signal from my laptop.

Any suggestions? I already tried reset under the OSD menu but nothing has changed.

Upon further research it sounds like it could be an EDID issue. Did something happen to it?

Also something peculiar, if I use a DVI-HDMI adapter on my MacMini (so it's taking a DVI signal and converting it to HDMI) and plug the other end into the HDMI port I get a full 1080p resolution input from my Mac. I'm running Ubuntu on it and it can even detect the display properly as " Acer Technologies 24" "  meanwhile my laptop still can't and used to. This is great and as a work around I can use that same adapter in the DVI Port in order to work around these issues but that means no audio from my PSTV or PS4. Also not to mention I solely use the HDMI port for game consoles only.

I'm still not having any luck. It won't receive a signal from my laptop until I plug it in a third time and it's only low resolution. While it's working like this Powerstrip (Windows program) can't even read the EDID and claims DDC isn't supported when it's enabled right in the monitor menu. I was able to pull the EDID from my registry from back when my laptop properly recognized it. Is there really no other option?

I can use my HDMI-DVI adapter if I have to use my laptop but this is really unfortunate.
