Hey there!
So I picked up the predator 300 today.. love it!
But when I connected it to the TV.. nothing shows up (no signal)
The laptop finds the display under Windows display options but nothing on the screen..
I feel like I've tried everything and am starting to worry I have a faulty port.

It should be an issue with the HDMI port. Try to Press and hold the Fn -F5 on the keyboard to activate the video port and send the image from the computer to the external display. Also, check the external resolution of the HDMI port. You can also connect a monitor to the HDMI port and check the display.

Thanks, but unfortunately this still hasn't solved the problem, still no signal :(

Update: The port definitely isn't faulty as it's working with a monitor just fine, seems to be just not working with the TV. Other laptops are able to connect just fine

    I have G3-572

Connected via HDMI to my TV.. Its a 4k TV.

    Display set as:
    PC screen only - HD
    TV only - 4k
PC and TV duplicated - PC HD & TV scaled down to HD
PC and TV extended - PC HD & TV 4k

Tested these both with some apps, and video as well.

    I hope this helps.

You could try disabling "quick startup" under power settings and restarting windows, and testing.
Also try changing to a different HDMI port on TV.
