anyone can HELP me, if my onboard soundcard broken or not? ( desktop predator g5900)
its can't be detected, it has enable in BIOS already,
in device manager just display "amd high sound ( hmdi )" only, cannot detect the onboard sound card

Device manager will only list the driver if its driver is installed, if not, it might show it as an unknown device. If the card is not at all listed, it might be that the card is not connected to the MB.

In the BIOS, does the hardware get detected? If so, go back and turn on the computer > Device Manager > See if there's an unknown device, if so get its hardware ID and Google search it, it might give you the name.
    BElieve in YOUrself.
