Can I draw on an Acer Iconia?

Hi, I am an illustrator of children's books. I draw my images, scan them, and bring them in to PhotoShop to perfect and colour. Then I save them as a high quality PDF or JPG. Recently I became interested in trying out a drawing pad to do final touch ups and was told I could use my Acer iconia with a stylus pen to do that. I have researched on Google and all I am becoming is more confused!
I really do not need much functionality. I need to access my high quality images (I can put them on a USB or external drive or where ever I have to put them) on my tablet and use a stylus pen to touch up images without losing quality. Just need to add black lines. That’s it.
Here are my questions:
1. Is this even possible with the Acer iconia?

2. Is there a program I have to download?

3. How should I get my images to open on the tablet/where should I store them?

4. I see so many stylus pens out there that I am boggled. I am guessing because this is a touch screen that I just need one with a fine tip, not a “digital-rechargeable” pen?

Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

honestly a pad has a better resolution on stylus pens, since it's made for that.
a tablet (not designed as graphic device) can't reach the same quality and you can find yourself having trouble even on making the simplest lines.
    I'm not an Acer employee.

The touchscreen on your tablet is designed for fingers, not for the narrow tipped styluses (styli?). That means you likely won't get a fine enough line to satisfy you. As Ironfly says a digital drawing tablet connected to a PC or Mac will be much more satisfying to you, or a touchscreen PC designed to use the fine tipped styluses. Take a look at the Acer Switch 5 models that include the stylus as an option.
