Acer A717-72G-75P8 blank screen

I just recently bought Acer A717-72G-75P8 laptop only 3 days and all of a sudden blank screen.
only keyboard is lit up.

I read online about bios recovery, it seems Acer only provides the boot recovery in windows mode and there are no files related to *.fd
it just some .exe file

Do NOT try to flash the BIOS!!!! First, try to turn the screen on with the FN+F6 or FN+F5 toggle screen combinations. Jack E/NJ

    No. It did not work.
    I tried Fn+F6 as well as Fn+F5.

OK. Next try to HDMI out to a TV screen. You may have to turn the TV screen on with the FN+F5 toggle key combo again. Jack E/NJ

    Still the same.

I tried connecting to TV using HDMI and TV displays "No Signal". I am afraid, issue is related to other but not related to screen extension.

FYI : When I power up the laptop, the keyboard lights lits up 2 times.
seems like boot time and next time when at windows screen (I am assume) so.

I tried the at before/after those lights lit up.

OK. At this point, don't try to mess any more with the BIOS firmware. Just return the system to the vendor as defective for a replacement or a refund. Jack E/NJ

Not sure if this is still an issue. I have been fighting with the same problem: notebook went sleep but not able to wake up, just lights under keyboard, processor running and screen black. What had worked for me way re installation of the video adapter driver. The one W10 push to your notebook is wrong, you have to use the one from this support page.

Thanks for your report. What Win10 version do you think is guilty? Jack E/NJ
