Bluetooth not working

Hi,

I have an Acer laptop with model ID Aspire E1-571 and SNID 24105008116 with Windows 8 OS (built in).

I can see my Bluetooth icon at the startup and also I can see the drivers showing working properly in the Device Manager.

However, whenever I search any Bluetooth devices it doesn't get connected to my laptop Bluetooth.

Also, none of the other Bluetooth devices are detecting my laptop Bluetooth earlier it used to detect and connect properly.

I initially thought it might be a problem with the driver but now in Acer support site, I can see there are 2 drivers Atheros and Broadcom for my model and I'm confused which one is it as so far Atheros is not working.

Could you please help me with this issue?

Uninstall the BT driver in Device Manager. Exit Device Manager without trying to re-install a driver. Then reboot and allow Windows to re-detect the BT hardware and automatically re-install the BT driver. Jack E/NJ

My Bluetooth stop working and does not update "this device cannot start. (code10)

Status _device_power_failure. please help
