Video Blurring and Stopping On Acer Spin 513-51 58W laptop

Hi,
I have been noticing that recently the video has been blurring on my 2017 Acer Spin 513-51 58W laptop.

The video has also been freezing / stopping at times.

These problems are particularly apparent on youtube, but I play short videos that I have on my laptop, there will also be problems such as the video freezing, or parts of the video being severely affected by visual artefacts such as part of a person's face suddenly looking disfigured.

I have tried disabling hardware acceleration, and uninstalling and re-installing browsers, but nothing helps.

The underside of the computer has been noticeably hotter over the past few months, as well.

I have checked youtube with another computer I have, and even though that computer is now 10 years old, it plays videos from youtube with few problems. To me, this confirms that the problem is with the Acer Spin 513-51.

I have seen other posts here about Acer laptops overheating, or encountering problems in displaying full 1080p resolution, but wonder if what I am talking about is a known problem, and if so, what can I do about it?

Please uninstall and reinstall the display adapter driver and check the issue.

Right-click on the Start button on the taskbar and then click Device Manager.

Expand Display adapters, Right-click on the graphics card entry and then click Uninstall device option. 

When you get the following confirmation dialog, select Delete the driver software for this device check box and then click Uninstall button. Once the driver is uninstalled, reboot your computer once and let windows install the driver.

Download and install the driver manually.
Intel :  Download 

Unzip the file to a designated location or folder.  Open Device Manager, click Yes when prompted for permission from User Account Control.  Expand the section that needs the driver or device with yellow exclamation mark.

Right-click and select Update Driver Software. Click Browse my computer for driver software.

Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Click Have Disk. Click Browse and select the directory where the driver files are located.

Click OK, and finally click Next. Drivers are now being installed.

Restart your computer.
