Predator 17 g9-793-78cm cycling at boot screen
i was using my system the other night and it randomly rebooted. issue is it will not get past the predator splash. I have done the following
1. made a recovery usb from another system (i bought one for my self and my wife)
when booting the system to the usb in legacy boot i can get the windows 10 logo but the system either reboots or gives a BSOD and gives Machine check error and reboots
2. made a fresh rebuild of win 10 on another USB form ms site.
when attempting to boot to usb system restarts no win 10 logo. known working system will boot to the usb
3. if i allow normal boot in legacy i get a grub recovery but my options for disks are (hd0) (hd1) (hd1,gpt1) (hd1,gpt2) (hd1,gpt3) (hd1,gpt4) none work when trying to set boot and prefix
4. replaced RAM on system (major PITA) bios also sees ram as functional
tried m.2 disks in known working system and it booted os and i was able to login and access desktop. tried known working .m2 in bad system and it did the same boot loop.
5. reset CMOS. used pin hole and while replacing RAM i removed battery and hit power button several times then replaced battery.
I would like to try to flash the bios but have no idea how or which bios files to apply from the support site. i don't see any options in BIOS to import updates and not sure how to boot to a usb to apply update any suggestions would be helpful.
