My question relates to Intel Rapid Storage Technology. My Predator 17 has two hard drives - primary SSD (238 GB) and secondary HDD (1 TB).

I accidentally clicked on "Create array" and now the secondary HDD serves as a Recovery disk for the primary disk. The secondary disc is not accessible and cannot be used for storage. Please note that I have done the following as indicated below:

 - did a factory reset / did not work.

- reinstalled windows 10 from Windows website - did not work.

- took out the secondary hdd, booted the computer without it, put the hdd back in / did not work.

I have done all that I can above and still nothing?

Kindly assist

Try disconnrcting the HDD, then while the HDD is disconnected re-install windows once again on thr SSD. Before re-installing windows format the SSD using the following commands:
You should have a windows recovery drive/installation media prepaired as this will delete everything from the SSD.

While in windows press shift+restart to enter in the advanced boot menu(can be done from the windows installation media too).

Once there go to advanced options and select command prompt. Input the following commands:

    diskpart
    list disk
select disk x(x is the number of the disk you want to clean in this case)
clean (this will quick format the drive)
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
