PREDATOR 21 X

PREDATOR 21 X is a beast of its kind, there is none like it, and so is AMD THREADRIPPER 2 processor. PREDATOR 21 X should have a variant with  AMD THREADRIPPER 2 processor or if at all Acer could come up with a model in PREDATOR series with threadripper processor with be great.

Forum, what do you guys think ? There is a high TDP involved which requires brilliant cooling engineering. It's a challenge but not impossible.

Possibly, just depends if Acer choose to continue the 21X.  I believe the 21X was initially brought to market more as a tech demonstration to help raise Acer's profile in the gaming community, subsequently the production run was extended due to demand.  There is a AMD solution coming for the new Predator Helios 500 with Ryzen 2700, equally the Helios 500 will need a robust cooling solution for both Intel's latest i9 8950HK and AMD's Ryzen 2700...
