Where can I buy a new AC Adapter for the GN246HL Monitor, or how can I repair the cable for it?

The cord attached to the AC adapter that would typically connect to the monitor itself was cut and I am not sure how to repair it. I noticed there is an insulated copper cable running through the center of the cable with some other metal wire wrapped all around it that I'm not sure what to do with. I wouldn't mind trying to repair it if provided instructions, but I would think that buying a new one would be a much easier alternative.

I tried looking for the exact power adapter I have online, but I figured I would ask here before buying anything to make sure I don't buy the wrong adapter.

Note: From what I can tell, the adapter itself is perfectly fine, it's just the cable that was damaged.

Here's some info about the monitor:
Model Number: GN246HL
Version: GN246HL Bbid
Power Rating: 19V (weird symbol) 2.1A (2,1A)
Part Number: UM.FG6AA.B01
Mfg Date: Sep 2017

If needed, I also have some info about my specific AC adapter:
Asian Power Devices Inc.
Model No.:
DA-40A19
Input: 100-240V ~ 50-60Hz, 1A
Output: 19V (weird symbol) 2.1A

Edit: Turns out the metal wire wrapped around the other insulated cord was just the ground. I stripped the cable, paired the respective wires, patched it up with electrical tape, and everything works now.

    Hello,
For information, the Acer part number of the AC adapter is:
    25.LP20Q.001 - AC.ADAPTER.40W.19V 2.10A

You'll be able to buy a new adapter from Acer parts partners.
