My acer is about 1 and a half months old.  It has decided to start restarting on its own.  Could be 5 minutes, could be 5 hours.  I have researched that it may require a bios update.  It is always been on a hard surface, no overheating.  Can someone confirm that it is a bios update.

    Hi,
You could try a system restore to a point when the laptop was working normally, also try reinstalling graphics driver, download the driver from Acer support site.

Aspire A315-21 is so far the worst ever laptop I owned. ACER support does not exist and when you type a question on their web site you receive all the possible answers but the one you are expecting.
My laptop is showing all the possible problems listed in the community site.
This said, I am now trying to update the BIOS (mine is the V 1.00) and the information available on the ACER site is more confusing than helping.
So, does anyone know how to update the BIOS?
