I have lost all ownership and admin rights to my E1-522 AMD quad core and W10 OS insider preview ?

Since update from 17666 my life has been hell and I cannot regain ownership over the system or indeed my device!! Only option as boot from DVD or USB is not recognised, reset encounters problem so closes, restore will not find any restore points, reset also has probs which force it to close and no boot options can be found or enabled??? Try as I might I cannot access the Acer, or any Acer, reset to factory default ??? F12 and shift and restarting 3 times all get me to Windows options??? Anyone know how how I can achieve factory default?? Please?? Anyone???

Try the ALT+F10 coldboot recovery from a complete power off state. Turn it back on and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. If your hidden recovery partition is still intact, a recovery screen should appear to re-set the machine to the original factory-fresh state. If your E1-522 was factory-installed Win10, you'll probably get it back to a factory-fresh state. If it was factory-installed Win7 or Win8.1, the Win10 downgrade probably wiped out the hidden recovery partion. Then you might able to purchase the originally installed ACER-specific Windows version on DVD or USB media. If not, you probably can use Microsoft's media creation tool to re-install a generic version of whatever Windows version you choose. Jack E/NJ

I managed to go so I will try that thanks for the advice I'll let you know how I go in an hour or so very frustrating and not good alright mate cheers I'll let you know

That twice and it just went straight to automatic repair and brought up the Windows recovery which is **** useless I **** how can I stop you from resetting the device man I'll tell you any other ideas mate

That last comment didn't translate very well I've just been speaking for 10 minutes explaining that with my phone off OK yeah I know I wasn't going off at you at all Microsoft how can I stop you from resetting your device unbelievable yeah but I'm sure it's them anyway that stuff and things up for everybody because they're making themselves a domain controller and everybody's in a work group and you were they taken all the elevated rights in ownership of you are unbelievable anyway they can't fix it supposedly so any other options man I just want to throw it in the river it's been 6 weeks of just about 24 hours a day man I'm blue alright if you got any other ideas thank you

Try to access BIOS menu by tapping F2 immediately after turning the machine on. Make sure D2D recovery option is enabled in the Main tab. Disable secure boot in the Boot tab --- you may have to first set and save a BIOS supervisor password to disable secure boot --- don't forget the password!!! Then try the ALT+F10 recovery method again by turning on the machine and immediately pressing the ALT key while tapping F10 key. Jack E/NJ
