Sound stops all of a sudden on my 34" Ultrawide Curved Monitor ..... Model XR342CK

Hi Guys,

I'm new here and wanna say "Hello" first of all"
I recently purchased an Acer 34" Ultrawide QHD (3440 x 1440) AMD Freesync Monitor, Model XR342CK.

I am having some problems with the sound. I am using the monitor speakers for my sound, but the sound keeps going/stopping on me. 
After approx 30-45mins, the sound will just stop.

The only way to get it back on is to turn the monitor off and then back on again. 

Has anyone experienced this before, or have any ideas of why this is happening or a fix?
I have tried searching the forums for this problem but haven't found anything about it. 

Using a p[premium hdmi cable to connect to the pc and drivers have been updated. 

Any help greatly appreciated.

Please trun Off DTS OFF and check the audio issue

Press the MENU key to open the OSD. Toggle the joystick to the up or down to select Audio from the OSD.Then toggle to the right to navigate to the element you wish to adjust and press the joystick to enter it. 

Toggle to the left or right to adjust the sliding scales. Volume: Adjust the volume 

DTS: Turn DTS Sound On or Off.
