Spin 3 , Vertical lines and freeze the device

Hello everyone,
Recently I purchased a refurbished Spin 3 the OS is Windows 10,

Since day one I noticed that at random intervals the screen just locks up.  It seems to occur more often when used in tablet mode.

What happens is either the desktop or the open application window suddenly locks and the cursor freezes.  Then there appears to be a column of what appear to be bubbles or small round balls rising in a vertical column near the left margin of the screen.  In addition, whatever application is open, such as a Word Document or web page, suddenly begins to go into zoom mode and the document or web page begins scrolling (dancing), left, right or up/down.

Most of the time, closing the lid or otherwise putting the computer into Sleep mode for a minute or so will stop the issue and everything will be fine for a while. A few times I have had to do a complete shutdown and reboot to stop the activity.

Any advise please will be very appreciated.

Hi,
Try reinstalling the Display adapter driver, go to Device manager, expand Display adapters, go to Properties of your graphics card, uninstall the driver and reboot to let Windows install the driver.
