Hi,

the sound of my Acer H277H is alway cracking whenever I set the volume a little bit higher than "normal" (e.g. 50% on Win10). This happens in a lot of settings, e.g. when I set the monitor volume to 50% and turn up the sound from a video or movie I watching, the sound will crack. Music etc. is not really enjoyable with the in-built speakers.

Can you help me out, please?
Thanks

Usually Monitors don't typically have very high quality sound processing hardware, speakers are low output with a narrow range. If you're looking for just something to make noise and you don't care about the volume or quality of the sound they'll be fine. If you want a decent quality of sound output for regular use, then you would be better opting for a separate speaker system.

Thanks for the answer Sharanji :). Yeah, I would guess that monitor speakers are not that good. However I was surprised that even if I turn the volume a little bit louder (approximately to "room volume" without annoying the neigbors) the cracking sounds appear. So I was hoping that maybe I could fix it with the right monitor/volume settings or drivers. But thanks anyway :).
