Hi, I have an acer x34p and connect my xbox one x to it. Unfortunately the 1440p is not working for me. It does display in 1080p though with black bars on the side. I think the issue is that the xbox one outputs with the new 2.2 hdcp HDMI standard and the HDMI port on the acer is the older 1.4 version. Haven't tried it for myself yet but maybe you could try to use a HDMI 1.4 to HDMI 2.0 converter. it might solve the issue but not sure about it.

Just got my Xbox One X today. I also seem to be having problems getting 1440p output to the Predator X34.

My PC connected via HDMI will allow 2560x1440p50. Creating a manual resolution for 2560x1440p60 also functions with the monitor.

However, setting the Xbox One X to 1440p output results in the monitor behaving as though it is either not receiving a signal, or that the resolution is out-of-range.

With regards to Leepe_steven's post, I'm not sure that this would be a factor. There doesn't seem to be any indication that 1440p mode requires HDCP 2.2 to function. There are HDCP 2.2 to 1.4 converters for about $40, but I don't currently have one to test with to see if there is any difference.

The better bet may be to bring this to the attention of Microsoft, it is a new feature and there may still be some issues to resolve.

Yeah, a $1200.00 monitor and it doesn't work in Ultrawide with Xbox One like other monitors.  A Big disappointment.
