Updated our work computers bios to R01-A4 and now the PC is slow to boot. It takes approximately 5 minutes after the post beep to see the windows loading screen. It seems there is a post-hang issue with this bios. I don't remember what BIOS was on it when we received it, but it worked fine. Additionally, I can't seem to enter the bios to try and load default settings, though this probably has nothing to do with it. Any ideas or suggestions for a bios to roll back to? This is an area of concern as we use it as our server at work and the slow boot seems to be causing problems trying to install Windows Updates that we need. This desktop was purchased around January/February. Latest BIOS selected was from here https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7242?b=1

I'm running the R01-A4 BIOS on mine with a SSD boot drive and it's really snappy coming up. I'd bet you need to go through the BIOS settings to make sure you don't have something wonky left over from the upgrade (IIRC the last step of the upgrade was supposed to a reset then reenter anything non-standard) You should be able to get into the BIOS by pressing the Del key. You can do it even if it's not pausing for you to give time, you just have to have hit the key a time or two during POST.

I have the same system. Did a bios update from R01-A2 to A4 and now it won't post. No beep, no video. I pulled the battery for 30 minutes and jumped the cmos pins and nothing.  I have power and I can hear the hard drive power up but that's it. It won't even let me repair via usb. Any suggestions?
