Does anyone have information on the Z35P audio jack? I have tried multiple input sources and cannot hear anything! It appears to be cosmetic with no functionality. My Z35P monitor audio is set to 70.
My Z35P is connected to my computer using a DP (DisplayPort) cable and I hear audio just fine when my Win10 audio output device is set to Z35P.
The Acer manual for my monitor says absolutely nothing about the audio jack except acknowledging it exists.
Thanks for any help.

DisplayPort cables can carry both video and audio signals. As you have mentioned the audio wouild work fine when Win10 audio output device is set to Z35P. The audio jack is used for connecting the audio out cable from computer to monitor when other video port that does not carry audio is interconnected. (For example VGA does not carry audio).
