I am selling my acer aspire F-15. I went into recovery and found factory reset. I wanted all to be gone so I chose that option. after several hours I had a blue screen that said do you want to erase all like encrypted keys etc and it had defaulted to yes so I checked yes. After that it just goes to the  acer screen where you see the little dots revolving and never anymore than that. I did not make a recovery disk for windows 10. I did not want to erase the operating system and hope I did not, but I do not know how to get past that screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

twilloo1, If you the see the revolving dots after you clicked on yes for erasing all the encrypted files, Please wait for the reset to complete as it will take several hours and it will not erase the OS. If reset didn't complete and stuck at revolving dots. Try to do reset with Alt + f10.

    Hi,

    Turn on the computer.

Press and hold the windows key on your keyboard and press the Pause/Break key ones.

This will bring up a box with all the basic information about your computer, including OS type installed in computer.
