I am upgrading my Acer Aspire.  I have followed the forum so far on this.

I upgraded the video card and power supply per this Acer discussion. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/465187/i-have-a-acer-axc-704g-uw61-can-i-upgrade-the-graphics-card    These two upgrades went fine.

I bought 2, 4GB modules of Hynex Ram per this Acer discussion. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/485440/acer-aspire-axc-704g-uw61-ram-upgrade

The computer will boot up with the original 4GB of Kingston RAM.  It will boot up with just one 4 GB modules of Hynex RAM put in to the same slot.  However, when I add the second 4GB of RAM in the  2nd slot, the computer will not boot up.  You hear the computer run and start, but the light on the power button doesn't show.

Any recommendations on what to do?

    Hello,
Did you buy Hynex or Hynix memory modules because I didn't find DDR3L on the Hynex website?

    Ok, that was a typo.

I bought the Hynix modules.  2, 4 GB modules from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FKEZ218/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If install one of the 4GB modules, the computer works perfect (just like with its original Kingston memory).  However, if I install the second 4GB in the second slot, the computer will not boot up properly.  You here things start and the processor fan goes on, but the light on the power never turns on and there is a black screen.

    Hello,
Sorry for the delay. This Hynix memory module was also shipped with your desktop model:
As I can see in the Hynix data sheet, the only difference is the memory chip. I would advise you to buy the original part.
