This morning I was offered a new Nvidia driver from Geforce Experience. I downloaded it and during the installation process it uninstalled the drivers and then failed. The computer crashed did a blue screen and did a check disk before restarting. The NVIdia software and drivers were still gone and my computer is running on VGA I think. I did a system restore, which did restore my computer to before the event, however it did not restore the Nvidia drivers or software. Prior to the attempted install of this new Nvidia driver, my computer was running properly without problems.

Anyone had this experience, and if so, do you have any solutions?

If anyone else has this problem. It seems to have been fixed by a windows update, then retry the driver installation.

You can always download the driver directly from NVidia, even the older drivers from NVidia's support page.
