Aspire E1-570 cooling fan not working. Any fixes?

Hello,
I have an Aspire E1-570 laptop which is about 4 years old. For the past few months, the CPU fan has stopped turning on at startup for some reason, due to which my laptop automatically shuts down due to high temperature. I regularly check the CPU's temperature with Speccy and HWMonitor and it displays a temperature of, give or take, 68 degrees celsius. Can anyone please suggest some way to fix this? I contacted support and they told me to go to a service center and gave me a nearby one's phone number. I want to keep going to the service center as my last option and try to figure out the problem myself (or with some online help).

You should clean the fan by disassembling the laptop and cleaning the fan blades to remove dust. Try to blow compressed air in laptop fan through its vent to remove dust. The Fan should be thoroughly cleaned once in every 3 years and if it needs replacement then you should replace it with a new one. Your motherboard could also be the problem; if the circuit supplying the power to the fan is fried/short, then your fan will not be able to spin. 

To prevent excess dust accumulation, always use your laptop on a flat and dust free surface. When laptop fan is removed for cleaning the CPU thermal paste needs to be re-applied. You can use arctic silver thermal grease. ou can take the help of any hardware technician who is qualified at this job.
