Helios 300 doesnt turning on

Hello. Yesterday I was playing on my laptop when suddenly screen turned off and I couldnt turn it on again. I'm turning off laptop and when I turn it on again, keyboard is lightning up, I hear it working for few seconds, but nothing appears on screen. Keyboard is still light up all the time till I won't hold power button to turn it off. I tried resetting battery with this pinhole, didn't help. When it happened yesterday I tried few times to turn it on and I succeed, it was working normally for about 30 min and (I don't know if that's accident or not) just when I opened the same game it did the same thing as before and since that time I can't turn it on. Game was League of Legends. I bought this laptop 2 months ago, brand new. I'm really counting for help! Thanks!

Hi,
Try the battery reset and bios default again. if the display shows acer logo atleast then we can try with advance options but if there is no display atall then its the hardware issue. if hardware issue then you should check with Acer for a warranty support.

if your computer boots up normally then change the compatibility mode of the game for the current version of windows.

Nothing appears on screen. I can't turn on bios too. Are u sure it's hardware?

WHAT IS THE SOLUTION PREDATOR FREEZES AND ON RESTART BLACK SCREEN. As i did hard reset on the back of battery panel it works again but again after sometimes freezes. Kindly give ideas to solve this matter.

Since the unit is not booting to windows and the bios its an hardware issue.

Hi,
You can do a cleanboot. follow the steps below.
From Start, search for msconfig.
Select System Configuration from the search results.

On the Services tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then tap or click Disable all.

On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click Open Task Manager.

On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click Disable.

Close Task Manager.
On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click OK, and then restart the computer.

Hi, my predator G3572 -7RD also has this issue, My laptop's screen isn't turning on. I took to the service centre and they can't resolve the issue. I tried pinhole reset by pressing for more than 60seconds and the issue still exists. When I press the power button keyboard backlight turns on, then nothing happens. I can shut it down by using shortcut keys and the laptop can be shut down by pressing the power button for 5seconds. Please help!

Hi @sreejith12,

If you have an external monitor then check with it if ur getting a display on the external monitor. Try to go to bios by tapping the f2 as soon as you turn on the machine. if this both are not working then its the hardware issue.

Hello, currently having this problem with my Acer Predator Helios 300 2019 . I don't know what to do. It turns on, with fans and LEDS, shows the PREDATOR logo, and then the display is black. i can't access anything, and bios command does not work . . Only a few months olld, please help
