My Switch 5 has a thin vertical strip a couple of inches in from the right hand side that is unresponsive (just where your fingers go when scrolling). As you can see from the pictures below, its not always the same bits that are unresponsive (but it is usually the upper section). That is an annoyance in itself, but the real problem is that the device "stores up" all the unresponsive touches and then unleashes them all at once at some point in the future....which is a nightmare. One minute you are working away and the next the machines is locking up due to hundreds/thousands of ghostly screen taps..... as you can imagine, in a web browser this is lethal!!
Is this a hardware issue that needs an engineer? Any advice greatly appreciated
