Hi,
I have an Acer Aspire V5-571 which originally ran Windows 8.1, over time I upgraded to Windows 10 and recently swapped out the hard drive for an SSD. I performed a full clone of the old drive to the SSD, then removed the recovery partition from the SSD so I could expand the C drive. I would like to copy the recovery partition (12G) from the old drive (attached via USB) to the the new drive. I do have a Recovery USB created before the hard drive swap, if that's any use.

My questions are...
1. Will the Recovery Partition hold up to date (i.e. Win 10 ) information or will it be out of date ?
2. How do I copy the partition over to the new SSD (assuming it's worth it)

Many Thanks in Advance,
Davin
